5 posts in 58 days Location: Connecticut I’m a retired furniture and cabinet maker with many years of woodworking experience under my belt. However; in recent years have turned my attention to the art of wand making. As you can see by the picture of Gaia’s Breath in my gallery I work with all natural woods scavenged from the forest floors here in Connecticut. I am also a writer, author, and do a lot of computer graphics, both for my own needs, and that of others. Also as so many other people my interests are so varied even at almost 70 years of age I still find a 24 hour day to be way too short to accomplish all the projects and goals I have set for myself. I do a series of articles titled, “Exercising The Grey Matter” which delves into senior citizens keeping their brains active by learning new tasks, not simply going through that mundane same old day after day routine we all too often become comfortable with. Exercising the grey matter is simply a way to exercise our brains, as we would our muscles, and in doing so helps to ward off the early onset of Alzheimer’s, and other related diseases. So where’s this going you may be asking? Well go back to the part of me being almost 70 years old, and a 24 hour day being way to short, and I can guarantee I in no danger of slowing down. Oh and the weekly treks into the forests, and ravens looking for usable specimens helps with the muscles as well. -- John Wills: The best part of not being perfect is simply the joy that it brings to others. See the drop-down box underneath my Lumberjocks in the upper right hand corner. Click on the arrow and select which type of posting you want to make (Project, Blog entry, Forum topic). This will take you to the appropriate page and you just fill in the form.

Click on the word” home” next to the profile picture of the member you want to contact ,then click on “send message”
