Hi Sonny, Thank you for the complement, I appreciate it from a fellow woodworker.

I'm working on our living room renovation. We were able to move the couches out of the kitchen today, they are now in the dining room. I'm working on the baseboard today. I have the floor & brick ready for the granite that will be installed on fireplace this Friday.

    Thanks again

    Hi Doug,

Thank you, I'm glad you like my work, that means a lot coming from another woodworker!!!! Since I was a little kid I always loved doing things with wood. I show in NJ, NY, & PA. Marie & I just finished the Architectural Digest Show in Manhattan. We decided to do ADHS next year, can't beat having 20,000+ people see your work. Marie is always looking to broaden my show schedule.

I'm co-chair for the Furniture Society Members Gallery for this year's conference. I'll be going up soon to see the gallery.

    Thanks again

    Hi Lee,
We're in Cedar Grove. Glen is teaching at WPU tonight. Tomorrow we are picking up a table in Noyes Museum & will try to get to NJIT to drop of the table. Coming down to the wire now, show opens this Thursday. He will have 26 pieces in the show including In Tune.

    Hi Spencer,
I really appreciate that you like my art. There are some very fine schools in the country. You probably know about Anderson Ranch, they have a good reputation. Also look at The Furniture Society good international professional group, you may be able to connect with someone there to apprentice with. This year the conference is in Boston,MA. I am co-chair for Member's Gallery.

I wish you all the best & keep in touch,
    Glen

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

    God Bless

    Glen,
Welcome to Lumberjocks! I have to say that I really love your work! I admire what you do. I am considering making the daring choice to pursue furniture building as a profession. I am actually looking into going to school for it to jump start my skill building. I have bookmarked your website (www.guarinofurnituredesigns.com) and even added you as a friend on facebook because I find your work so inspiring. I look forward to getting to know you better! Welcome!

    Hi daremer,
Yes please do add me as a buddy. I'm new on this site. I have a show opening next week, spent most of the day finishing platforms for the furniture.

That is impressive to do a sofa as a project. I don't think I would consider you a beginner doing a sofa. Building furniture is a lot of fun.

I'm glad you like my table.

Hey glen. I saw your first project - it was awesome! I'm a beginner woodworker, and love learning from this site! I'm also a beginner furniture maker (modern things) - I just built my first sofa from scratch (my own design). I hope its ok if I add you as a buddy, and occasionally ask a few questions!! Hope to see more projects from you!! Thanks a lot, and welcome!

    Thanks,

We are getting ready for Glen's solo art show opening next Thursday. Keep fingers crossed that we don't get the predicted snow in the northeast. Glen has been working hard designing and making new tables, mirrors, music stand. He has 20 pieces, may have 1-2 more if he finishes them.

I sent out a ton of invitations, press releases…

    Have a great day,
    Glen & Marie
