Internet got the idea and bought some lumber of kiri (Paulownia fortunei). As it reached the extent I had to join two together. Use only glue and press. And then using screws and glue finished assembly. Interesting project and gives a sufficient stiffness.</p>]]>

Termination is with tung oil and two coats of marine varnish. The seat is an old moldboard plow.</p>]]>

Simple and fun project to do with hand tools. Very comfortable. Not finished all natural wood. This wood has the particularity that it is exposed to the sun and take an orange, otherwise it is dark brown.</p>]]>
