i am just now getting back into woodworking after a twenty year layoff. However I was just a beginner at that point so maybe I will at least remember a few things and I know I will learn a lot from this site. I am just getting a small shop put together and trying to sort out how to lay it all out.
I am looking forward to having my dad to work with me. He was a long-time woodworker but gave it up a few years ago due to age and health (He will be 88 in two weeks!!). He is giving me most of his tools and I can tell he is excited about being able to "show" me how to use them. I am thrilled that we will be able to work together and I can learn from him. I think this is going to be a win-win situation for both of us!!

Thanks to all of you for the kind remarks….you make me feel like I am one of the crowd and I haven’t even cut a board yet!! :-) Still trying to get the shop in shape to put some tools in it and get started.
