I am 71 years old retired after 30 years at Caterpillar . I have been retired since 1996 .I have been woodworking for 30 years making small cabinets in form of Antique replicas mosly for the last 15 years

I get logs that are given to me and get them sawed by the Amish for 20 cents a foot and I made my own drying solar shed . I have been cutting and drying my own lumber for 16 years .

I have some pictures but I don't see how I can get them on here without going through Photo Buckett.

I had not been on there long enough was probably was the reason .

Appairently I did not post what I had down there last night because when I up loaded my pictures they were listed as http .amazonsxi.com or something like that maybe not the xact phrase . I clicked on it and nothing happened and put iot in a web address line and it would not show annything . So I must not have them in the right image phrase .

If your pictures are JPG images/files it should work OK. I am not sure if this site takes other formats or not. I always use JPG. Also, it takes 12 to 24 hours to be approved once you sign up before you can actually post something like a picture or response to someone else’s post.

Go to the upper right corner of this page to “My Lumberjock.” Click on it and there will be a drop down menu. It will give you a bunch of options. For the project gallery, go to near the bottom of the menu and click on new project.

I have an old Singer Sewing Machine that was a pile of crap when I got it and I had to replace the top and bottom . The side end pieces are about all that is original . I would like to put it on display but this is an Antique refinish job they say it is no longer a good antique because I put a lot of new wood in to it . You could not have it in the house the way it was . This still works and I use it I have never seen another one like it . This is also a little sewing chest of drawers with the dovetails showing and the wood is Malberry with Sycamore in the drawer sides .Gene

On this page at the top it says view Gallery that I think that it for finished projects . When you click on there are no pictures and no way to add any that I can see.

Nice job on the sewing cabinet. It looks great. Yes, when you click on view gallery, it will show the completed pictures that you have added to your gallery. Go to the very upper right portion of your profile screen. It says “My Lumberjocks.” It is way up on the top right corner of the screen. Click on that button and a drop down menu will show up and you can add your sewing machine cabinet as a completed project. Click on “New Project” and follow the instructions.

Gene, You might have a problem with your profile if it isnt letting you load the pictures. I would suggest sending Martin Sojka an email. He is the site administrator and he can lead you through those issues. Martin’s profile link is at the bottom of a1Jims post above.
