After working in a portion of the garage for many years, I now have a 1000 SQ FT shop with two rooms. Shop A, about 500 SQ FT is for planning, layout, construction and finishing. Shop B, also about 500 SQ FT is and for making sawdust. Shop B also has access to an outdoor work area. All machinery is located in Shop B, to control dust and noise. Shop A is under part of the house and has 10’ ceilings. Shop B is under a two car garage and has 9’ ceilings. Both are well insulated and have a heating and cooling source separate from the house. Although quite serviceable, I still have plenty of work to do building outfeed tables, additional work tables, woodworking benches, and finishing the trim and installing floorcovering over the concrete.

Nice shop, really like the high ceilings. Thanks for the tour.

Gene, you have a nice shop in which to work. It appears to be well organized and you have added some nice cabinetry to the shop. You also have a nice set of tools to play with as well.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.
