I am a retired truck driver that built my own shop about 4 yrs ago after waiting almost 30 yrs to do so.
I started wood working as a young teenager taking classes in school as well as building several soap box derby cars. I also helped my dad finish out the basement of our house adding 2 bedrooms and a den.
Since I now have my own shop I have done a number of remodeling projects to my current house and have built several rooms in the house and added a covered porch to the front.
I have also built a number of cutting boards that I have sold and given as gifts, along with clocks and weather stations.
I am most proud of the 3 solid cherry cedar chests that I have built, one for my nephew as a wedding gift, one for my granddaughter as a graduation gift and the third I sold to pay for the other 2.
