Holy Cow! Gary this is a great tutorial. I’m about to think you should turn it into an article for FWW. You should be getting paid for doing this. I am truly impressed with the amount of figureing it takes to get there. thanks.

Very impressive Gary. Great tutorial. I might have mentioned that my old shop teacher builds these things. An amazing amount of detailed work.

I’m impressed…I’ve been wanting to build a harpsichord for years and may finally do something in that direction…but there’s a half dozen project before I can even think of it. But you’re encouraging me to at least look up plans.

Thamks for all your comments.

Mot – Yes you did mention that.

Barry – Plans don’t do you a whole lot of good unless you research the methods of construction. Mainly it’s always the keyboard that is the most finicky part. The methods I am laying out here also apply to a harpsichord.
