Hello All,

I am going to end this blog unfinished. Someone saw it and was interested in having me write a book on the subject.

I will have to remove what I have done so far.

When the book is complete and published I will let you all know.

Sorry if there’s any inconvenience.

I’ll be looking forward to watching you do this by your pictures and comments.

I am in the same situation as you. Now that it will be getting cooler, I’ll be in the shop more. I don’t have an air conditioned shop, and so in the summer, it’s not uncommon for it to be 90+ degrees out there. Oh blessed autumn!

I will be watching this one closely. It is an interesting project. When you get it done would you please do another Harpsichord so we can watch? I play guitar some. (For my own amusement and other people’s amazement) Carleen plays piano and when I retire I would like to build a Harpsichord. I hope she can still play when we’re 80. Good luck. We’ll be watching.

Tom -

Don’t worry. I have a half completed harpsichord that I still need to finish. You can see it at the end of my small harpsichord project. I will be doing a lot of it over since I screwed it up, it being my first one attempt at one. I bit off a little more than I could chew, hence the smaller one.

I found some pictures I took of it during construction, so I will have them to post.
