Location: East TX
Website:

Just moved to Texas about 2006 from So, California.
Built a 1000 sqft workshop since I was tired of working in a 2 car garage. I build furniture mostly.

I am self taught starting about 1990. I tend to never make anything more than once (unless it comes as a set). I really enjoy trying new things and experimenting.

Amen to that one!!!(about the apple) Just checked out your work and quite honestly all I can think to say is WOW!! Just beautiful. And ya know, where does someone get wood like that mahagany you used for the dresser and headboard you made? I am serious, never really thought about it before, just curious. Allison

Hey GaryK,

Thanks for the message. I am quite inspired by your free-standing shop!
Love the bench by the way, I can only hope to emulate. Of course I have all the workbench books known to man. and am dead keen to get that moving after dust-collection in the new space. From what I’ve read I need to come to terms with the fact I will end up building a few benches over time, so to not try and solve everything on the first one! I am also impressed and interested at the variety (and skill) of your work. I will be peeking further into your little world a little deeper in the coming days….
