I am a woodworker now with 19 years experience. My Father is a wodworker also and owns his own custom cabinet shop. That is where my experienced began when I was 17 years old. I am now 36, a wonderful wife and 3 lovely kids. At the age of 17 I did not want to be in a woodshop getting all dusty and listening to machines all day. I now have a 21x20 stand alone shop in my backyard. I enjoying woodworking a lot. My background is residential and commercial cabinetry. I had a great experience working with a local company and learning how to operate a CNC router. Man!! The things you can do with those machines are endless! After learning the commercial side of woodworking a learned that for me it is not as fun as working with solid woods and plywood. Most commercial is melamines. I enjoy building furniture pieces and enterteainment centers, Mantles, desks, Tables, Bookcases, Cribs, Beds, etc. I have currently turned my focused on Baby Furniture. Cribs, Dressers Hutches, etc. That is my Niche. I am working on getting certified through JPMA (junior products manufacturing association) and taking my talents and ideas to the next level! That would be my DREAM come true. It is hard work, but I believe from hard work, comes Great things. Who would have thought that after my Father use to have to drag my into the shop when I was a teeneager that this would end up being a career for me. I am blessed to have a skilled trade, and thankful to have a small shop to hone my craft everyday. My wife supports everything I do with woodworking 100%, even when it is time to purchase tools! There is nothing like working in the shop and she looks out the kitchen window and says," Dinner is Ready!" Just a little bit about me. Thanks and GOD Bless
