After spending quite a while building out 1 1/2 bays of my 3 1/2 bay garage as a woodworking shop – this is actually a work in progress – I suppose it always will be—anyway – after spending a fair bit of time making a place to work and playing around with a few little projects I decided it was time to make something for my 3 yr old daughter, Ella.
I made a somewhat crude toy range and microwave combo for her – the size is just right for her to use as she stands at the piece. Although a bit crude in construction and finish for even a beginning woodworker – it’s really not all that bad – I’ll get a picture or two up soon enough. The unit is complete with an oven with sliding rack and temperature knobs, four “burner” stove and integrated microwave.
