I've only been woodworking since 2006, but thanks to a mentoring uncle I'm making progress. I have an amazing wife and two beautiful boys ages 10 and 13, so my time in the workshop is limited. I'm also a triathlete/cyclist, enjoy gardening and working around our home that we recently built. Professionally, I own and operate a finance company specific to traveling carnivals. This is rather odd given that my educational background involves a PhD in pharmacology which allowed me to teach medical school in an earlier career. I reside in upstate South Carolina which is the greatest place in the world to live (shhh, let's keep that quiet - we have enough people here!).
