Sometimes it is best to trust your gut instinct and pass up a seemingly good buy but involves lots of refurbishing which could run the price up more! Keep looking, your tool will appear/materialize one day.

I agreee, it used price is too close to the new one, why take the chance, especially if you get lifetiime warranty.
