Asking a little help from Shopsmith owners - 3 replies Hi everyone, I finished my diy lathe a couple of weeks ago and did a small test turning an awl handle with good results but the 5/8” threaded rod used as spindle has a 0.3mm oscillation aprox., not bad I think but there’s room for improvement. So, I’d like to replace this spindle with a proper made one and looking around see... |
