Hello everyone this is my first blog. I am a teenager and graduated from high school and plan on attending Bucks County Community College. My high school had a week of open wood lab after graduation. I made two maple boxes one with a poplar top raised up and routered, lined with cocobolo. The other was a raised oak top with a beautiful knot in it. This box was lined with purple heart. Looking for advice and any other information that will help me in my journey in becoming a better wood worker.

Has anyone been following the Ryobi case that was in the news? Man got hurt on the table saw and the judge gave him all kinds of money.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
