Tommy has done it again. His updated website is now provided twenty plus video clips of the Tool Box Build. FYI, Tommy released a DVD on this project about a year ago. I bought it when it came out and all I can say is that it is a well produced, high quality product. Now, it’s even better. Tommy is giving it to us. That’s right.. FREE BABY!.. Follow this link to get to T’s website.

Now, look in the lower right corner under “What’s New”. You should see the Tool Box. Clicking on that link will get you access to over 25 video segments that were a part of the original DVD.

As you read about the “tool box” Tommy points out that you can use the basic design to build the tool box, make it a jewelry box, or whatever. Well, I used his plans as a basis to build a Scrap Booking Cubby for my Daughter In Law. It’s built the same way as Tommy’s Tool Box, but I only built one drawer. Instead of having the upper drawers, I made pull out shelves so she can stack mulitple heights of craft paper on either side.

Have fun following Tommy’s videos and go build something for yourself or a loved one. Oh,, here’s a pic of my DIL’s Scrap Booking Cubby. She gets to see it this Saturday. Hope she likes it.

Thanks for the info WoodRat. That is a great find. I got the step stool DVD from Tommy last year. I made a comment on one of his projects and he sent me a DVD for free. Sounds like a great guy to me.

Rex.. you are welcome. I got the Step Stool DVD after I built mine, just because I wanted it. And yes, Tommy is really a nice guy. He has helped me through a few projects.

Hi Bruce.

This is FANTASTIC news indeed! I was waiting for Tommy to re-issue the DVD so Santa might think of it on his way here. Now I don’t have to wait and Santa can bring me something else. (like a new back…)

Thanks for being the bearer of such good news. You may add “evangelist” to you list of accomplishments! ;)

BeginningWW and Rembo,

You are welcome. However, you guys need to say Thank you to Tommy MacDonald. He is the one who made the video’s available. I just wanted to let our fellow LJ’s know about them.

Guess what guys? In the eight days since Tommy made the Tool Box Video series available, there have been 22990 views of the episodes. Is that awesome or what?
