The FLWoodRat is an OBG (Old Bald Guy) living in South East Florida who loves to play in his garage shop.
Woodworking is just a hobby for me. Most days I can be found attempting to mold adult minds as a technical instructor at a nuclear training facility. (Come to think of it, some of these adult minds are quite moldy without my input.)
For the past two and a half years my lovely wife of 31 years and I have been remodeling our house. Three nasty ladies (Francis, Jean and Wilma) visited us and left some remnants behind. I'm slow.. God Bless my wife's patience. During that time frame we've also watched our two kids mature into fantastic young adults.
Our oldest (Son) graduated from college, got married to a dream of a young lady and 13 months later presented us with a beautiful grand daughter.
Our youngest (Daughter) is still iln school. To date, she has obtained her BS degree in Food Science, her MS in Nutrition and is currently well into her PHD program for her Doctorate in Neural Science. She must get it from her Mom. And, even as busy as she is, she has also found a good mate. They got married on 08/08/08 in sunny Boise, Idaho.
Getting to the end of our Whole House Remodel. One more window to trim out, then it's time to paint. Gotta brush?
" Let's be happy today. We have the rest of our lives to worry about being sad".
Remember: "Leaving the SHOP with the same number of fingers you entered with constitutes a good day!"

To everyone that welcomed me. Thank you. Thos, I will be in Boise in August, but will most likely be quite busy. Thanks for the invite. To the Other OBG David.. I actually do share my tools. Actually, whenever I upgrate the old but still good ones are usually shared with friends as gifts. They are always appreciated and well taken care of in their new homes.
