I wanted to do a story showcasing how wonderful it is to see fish inside my custom fly fishing nets. Just about 99.5% of my clients are fly fishers. They fish everywhere from Argentina to Alaska, and New York to New Zealand. Sometimes I take the pictures of nets during “field tests”, and other times, clients send me pics from their adventures. I love it when the latter happens!
To This:
We get em in the salt too! This is a spotted bay bass
A Bitch Creek Cutthroat. Claro walnut & curly maple custom fly fishing net.
Here is a gorgeous Yellowstone Cutthroat trout.
and another…
Here I am fishing the Lamaar River inside Yellowstone. The net is dangling from my back on a handmade wooden Magnet and Latigo Leather release.

Me getting a LITTLE BIT excited about landing this cutty.
Here is a nice brown landed by a young teenage client.
This is a Pyramid Lake, Nv. cutty. Note the fly fishers lined up on ladders in the background. That’s how you fish Pyramid!
Here’s the first net I ever made. Boy, I’ve come a long way!
Giant brookies from a “secret spot”

This curly Koa, wenge & teak custom fly fishing net landed this amazing “arm-sized” rainbow from SW Alaska.

Me with a 12lb. catfish on the fly!
Here is a nice stabilized maple burl net.

I’ll finish this post up whit a bunch of great photos showcasing my love of these two awesome hobbies of mine:
Hope you enjoyed!

Greg, as always your nets are amazing. One of these days we gotta connect and go fish, we share the same hobbies, wood and flys… I was super bummed, I had just missed the FFF in Mammoth that weekend in Sept, I think and was hoping to catch up with you guys and some FFA guys that were up there fishin, but things didn’t work out. One of these days man! Awesome work! So cool to see an innovator succeed!

Luke, wassup! You’re right here in my neck o the woods. You’ll have to stop in if ever in the Disneyland area. BTW, I saw your net and was quite impressed! You did a heckuva job. Too bad your photos didn’t do it justice! LOL! You hafta get together with the guys on FFA-They are great. You are right at the base of teh mountains too! You have some good fishing within 30 minutes of your house. We should def. fish! I need to get up there soon. Tis the season! PM me your FFA handle when you get a chance.
Doug, I loves me some trout for sure, but there is a big world full of big fish out there just waiting to be dominated! Course, look at where you live! I would be a trout snob too if I lived in Montana! You oughta try carp’n someday. He’ll feed you a slice of humble pie an laugh at you while doing so!
Glad you all enjoyed.
