Hello All,
My name is Jeff Sparks. I am a stay-at-home dad with two lovely girls, ages one and a half and four and a half. I have a basement workshop. Mostly I make furniture for friends, relatives, and our own house, once in awhile selling a piece here or there. I also have attended exactly two Holiday Craft Shows: the first went fairly well, the second was not so great.
Last year, we (my wife has been my biggest suporter) had a booth at our local crafter’s market, Keeper's Corners. The owners were great, but our product just didn’t quite fit in. So, for now, I am focusing on projects around the house, currently working on a library for our vast collection of books, that has been sitting on the floor for six years.
It’s great to be here.

Should we warn him now or just let him find out by himself?

Welcome to LJ’s Jeff. You will find a diversified group of people here. While we may differ with regards to our individual talents and experiences we all share a common love of wood.

Glad your here. this is a great site. Do’nt be discouraged by one show that didn’t turn out like you hoped. I have found there are just some shows that are better suited to my work and when I find them I will go every year and now have customers that come just to buy my work.
