Congratulations on the new toys. I have always had a great deal of respect for Grizzly’s product lines and their customer service. You bought a nice table saw and an 8 inch jointer is the way to go, in my opinion. I have a 6” jointer that is 4 or 5 years old and, while it run just fine, I have always wished I had gone with the 8 inch model instead.

When you have used the tools for awhile I hope you are able to post of review on them.

Hello FMG:
I know your excited about getting your new Grizzly saw and jointer. But keep an eye on them. I had a Grizzly 14 in. band saw for only a short time, and the shaft that turns the bottom wheel busted in two, and the wheel came off, knocking the bottom door open, and busting the blade and bent the door badly. I called Grizzly for new parts and none was to be found—-anywhere—even overseas at the time. Lucklily, I had a friend that could turn a new shaft for me, and it worked perfect, still something else happened to it, and I got rid of it. My first and last Grizzly product. I’m exclusive Delta products all the way for several years now , and will use nothing else. Enjoy the new toys!!!!! Rick D.
