Hello all,
Just wanted to touch base with you all and let you know that I am in NH taking another class with Mike Dunbar in beautiful snowy Hampton. I arrived from PA in the early evening yesterday after 60 degree weather only to wake up to a snowy morning. The funny part is that I loaded my road bike into my car in case I would get some riding in on the beautiful coast…not.
We worked on the seat and the crest today and I believe we will be finishing the seat and legging up the chairs tomorrow. It’s great to be back here building one of my favorite Windsors. There is a small group of guys and we all had dinner tonight. It’s great hanging with people all trying to live the dream of bringing the quality of hand craftsmanship back to chairmaking. I will post some pics when I return home.

Fred, it is wonderful to have an opportunity like this available to you. I am looking forward to hearing about your experience as well.

Good to hear you are back at it Fred. Have fun, I’m sure you’ll love that chair. It’s a tough one to finish in class with all of the carving. Good luck, work hard, have fun.
