« Part 3: a ways to go Part 4 of If one writes a song can one post it here? series Part 5: A Promise Broken »

oh, oh, oh yeah, watching you move over there

oh yeah the sound, people moving everywhere

I’ve been working so hard all week now
pounding them nails
I see you as an oasis in
this hard life, that I’ve chose
hard life, I’ve chose

oh, oh, oh yeah. will you spend a little time with me

oh yeah the music, one with it go we

your soft, forgive my hard hands
away to pleasure land
the music, your companionship, taking me from
this hard life, that I’ve chose
hard life, I’ve chose

I only have this one night, a day of rest then back to work

moved by the music, great time with you makes ready to handle the hard work

and that’s how the circle of my week goes
oh how I love Saturday night
walking in the door seeing your beauty
your soft, setting the hard right
setting the hard right

I did put it to wood. I got the aches, pains, and scares to prove it.

Alright, we’ve seen the lyrics, lets hear them. I don’t know how the rythm and beat is supposed to go without hearing it sung.
