Keeping your shop clean & organized - 49 replies For those of you who do it successfully, do you have any particular methodology for keeping your shop ship-shape? Every time I get it squared away, I say I’m going to keep it neat no matter what. But then the deeper I get into a project, the more chaotic it gets until I finish, look around, and run away and hide from it. ;) Seriously... |

Question for Delta 22-580 planer owners - 21 replies Hi, I just received my new planer and did the first part of the setup (just unpacking, removing the film, and installing the handles). Anyway, when I move the cutterhead up and particularly down, it makes some clicking noises and I can feel the handle sort of catch and release. Need help blending light and dark poplar and maple - 21 replies I made an easel for my daughter (from the NYW plan) and it is all done except for the finishing. The problem is that when I started the project my wife insisted that it should be painted. Since it was going to be painted, I made it mostly out of poplar I already had in the shop but also used a couple of scraps of maple when I ran out of poplar... |
