I've been woodworking as a hobby for about 6 years now. I still have a lot to learn but I'm enjoying every bit of it. I try to use traditional joinery and a mix of power and hand tools. I prefer the quiet though of hand planing wood as I find hand tool work to be extremely rewarding and relaxing.
