Pink Tool Set for Ladies - Apollo Precision 39-piece

Pink Tool Set for Ladies - Apollo Precision 39-piece

Apollo Precision 39-piece Pink Tool Set I suggest you this awesome tool set. It was really nice to be able to give a tool set to my wife that not only was sturdy and comprehensive but also aesthetically looked great with their shocking pink accents. I’m not allowed to use the pink tools so I’m told (I’m terrible for putting tools back in their proper place) but there’s no way I could confuse them with mine so I don’t think she has to worry! Great bundle...

Leatherman Skeletool CX Multitool, It's what Batman would carry.

Leatherman Skeletool CX Multitool, It's what Batman would carry.

I already have a multi-tool (Swiss Army Champion Plus), it’s a great tool to be sure, but for me out of the 30 tools in it I only ever use the small blade and once in a blue moon the scissors. It’s a “little of everything” tool but not particularly strong in any one of the particular tools. The allure of the Skeletool for me was:The simplicity, but being strong in what it gives you:1. On the CX model, the 154CM combo plain/serrated blade is beefy enough to do a job ...

Dremel Multimax a low cost alternative?

Dremel Multimax a low cost alternative?

1843 days ago by EricWrights | 14 comments »

A very useful customer’s review I found. Credit: Camera Shy (Baltimore, MD USA) at Amazon.com Good Tool and Recommended (with some room for improvement) I received my Dremel Multi-Max about a week ago and was anxious to try it out on a serious project. The Project: Cut out exterior window molding that had begun to rot. The tool did the job as expected; in fact I felt like a surgeon cutting out a tumor. However, after just a few minutes of use, the blade came off – not goo...

Fein Multimaster Great solid product for multi tasking A++

Fein Multimaster Great solid product for multi tasking A++

The Fein Multimaster handles every job with ease and precision. The bit changing process is very easy and holds the tool very solidly. I tried cutting wood, and 1/8 ” aluminum , cutting holes for my car speaker sheet metal, and sanding. It does everything well, and cuts through sheet metal much easier than the rotozip or dremel with metal cutting disk. When cutting sheet metal I’ve noticed that it doesn’t give off that hot spark unlike most metal cutting tools. It also...

Dewalt Protector Smoke Safety Glasses - Got it for $3 but It's now only $2 Grrr.

Do they worth a buck at all? Why did I buy them? Adjectives that might best describe this glasses would be Exceptional Quality and Amazing Value. True to their name, DeWalt’s safety glasses set the standard for quality and value. I got them shipped to my home a couple days ago for $3 but now only $2 and they are more comfortable than safety glasses costing 5 times as much. That’s why I want to suggest you guys to grab one if you are needing this kind of thing. The glasses...

Jawhorse (Sawhorse) from Rockwell, the Handy Helper

I do 99% of my projects alone. Believe me this one is a Lifesaver! I’m always a bit skeptical of infomercials and typically believe gimmicky tools are much more trouble than they are worth. But, thinking about all the times I’ve risked cutting boards that were unstable and chasing odd shaped items across my bench with my surface grinder, I kept thinking this thing might just be worth a try so I finally decided to order one. In the closed position the unit stores easily and take...

Rockwell Sonicrafter Does a Great Job

Rockwell Sonicrafter Does a Great Job

1848 days ago by EricWrights | 8 comments »

I had looked at the Fein Multimaster, but couldn’t justify the price. I bought the Sonicrafter specifically to sand between the rails of a baby crib I built for my daughter. This tool will see as much use as my random orbital sander! It’s very well made, and does a superb job. A couple of experiential comments: 1. The tool is a fast worker, let IT do the work for you. 2. The dust collection attachment gets in the way, and is useless. 3. I haven’t found a s...
