        <![CDATA[<p><img alt="taking a jab at some cutting boards" src="http://lumberjocks.com/assets/pictures/projects/38384-196x130.jpg" /></p><p>Hey everyone, I&#8217;m new to lumber jocks, so this is my first post&#8230;</p>


	<p>I made these cutting boards maybe a year ago&#8230; it was my first try at using hardwoods, let alone a cutting board. At the time, i only had a chop saw and a belt sander. (although since i graduated high school and have a job, i now have a full shop.)</p>


	<p>I realize that the first one is not really exact.. i hadn&#8217;t gotten the dimensions just right for the correct look yet. It&#8217;s been hit and miss.</p>


	<p>the first is made with bubinga and maple, the grouping of 3 are made with a combination of padauk, purpleheart, and red oak. The 3rd board is made with narra and maple.</p>
