Part 1: We have a new shop girl ...

So – some of you have put me on your buddy list and have followed some of the saga (sitcom) of my life. Others have no clue what the history is and probably don’t care. I’ll give a quick background just to set the background plot for the story. I was engaged, that took it’s turn towards dissolving last summer. So where possible I’ve cleaned out most of the stories and pictures involving my ex. Unfortunately in newsletters that’s just history, it’s ...

Part 2: How I got to meet her parents ...

So this is wood related – but spins to the personal story … I think it fits once you read through it’ll make sense! I’m really curious how the comments and feedback will go on this one!? Periodically I will allude to the fact that my life is often a sitcom – things happen that there’s no way I could script out or make up. I think Alice Cooper described his need to retire because he simply couldn’t compete with reality anymore in terms of strange and shocking events....

Part 3: Hard wood and floors ... oh and the new girl ...

1238 days ago by Eric M. Saperstein | 10 comments »

Dana has swung back and forth a bit with the concept of having JAP (Jewish American Princess) qualities but of course she’s not a JAP. OK – Dana wanted some non-shop / project related photos … and she was also hoping to find some without bandages, you may notice THAT wasn’t possible. She was also thinking perhaps some images without cats … ALSO not possible. We did capture some times where she had her makeup and hair done … instead of tucked up and out of range of tools, equipment, and chemicals. I did finally find ONE photo (the last one …) Oh and if ...

Part 5: Dana takes on the role of Jewelry Organization Consultant

1234 days ago by Eric M. Saperstein | 6 comments »

Our new jewelry organization consultant (JOC), Dana Oxenberg, sunlights as a bio-engineer while applying her creative talents towards solving a prominent female dilemma. Anyone who owns more than one necklace has discovered that somehow when the two items are placed together in a dark drawer they intertwine into a metallic orgy that ends with an insurmountably complex knot. The intricacy of the entanglement exponentially increases with each additional chain eventually reaching the state o...

Part 6: Not all nail guns, power tools, and knee pads ... so what comes next?

1159 days ago by Eric M. Saperstein | 14 comments »

So you’ve seen the jewelry boxes, the whittling in bed, and the hardwood floors. During this time we passed through her 180 day checkpoint which was good timing since she does not like Valentines Day. I waited until 183 days had passed and delivered her gift … pointing out it was NOT a V-day gift it was a 183 day commemorative event. Oh – the gift, since that question will come up. She likes peppermint patties, so I found a candy wholesaler and drop shipped her a 25lb cas...
