Hello all,
Just a bit about myself, I have dabbled in woodworking over the years.
I work as an primarily in warehouse, inventory or logistics management, so a large part of my job is spent indoors couped up the last 25+ years. I am also an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, hiking and my love is in Traditional Archery. I love to build bows whether they are all wood or wood/fiberglass composite. I also love arrowsmithing and leather work. I also enjoy crafting knives. I have done a little bit of forging but mainly making knives from blanks. I have a little side business selling and creating traditional archery items that allows me to go to events and sell but more importantly enjoy the atmoshpere. So wood working is something I do in my spare time to relax and have fun with. I have always enjoyed doing carpentry work such as remodeling in the homes we have owned.
I also enjoy creating art. I primarily have done wildlife pencil drawings but have also done sandblasting art in different mediums such as glass and stone, some ceramics and dabbled in some sculpture pieces.
My goals in woodworking are more in building for me and my family at this point. For future projects I would like to learn and develop the skills build a items that can be used, viewed and enjoyed. I also am very interested in learing techniques and skills of carving to further express my art skills.
Enough about me, lets get out and creat some wood chips...........
