« Part 10: Doors & Hinges Part 11 of Router Cabinet Redo series no next part

All that was left construction wise was to build the router cavity door. I used solid oak with a dado placed to receive the plexiglass .. although some people said that it might be the smartest idea putting a door as the router needed a lot of air to function properly but after researching this project I found the the majority of Cabinet did in fact have doors .

That’s why I drilled 2” diameter holes in the plexiglass for the air intake if all else fails I can all ways remove the door if I find it hindering the router

Well the drawers are in and slide well, the doors are installed and swing all that’s left is installing the table and fence and mounting the router as well as putting all the power cords and paddle switch but all in all the cabinet is built..

thanks for joining me on this build

When the router table and cabinet is complete I will post the entire project
