that’s pretty cool. I’ve always been a fan of timber framing.

Interesting approach. Seems like a lot of work cutting and gluing to take something that was wood, turn it into plywood, then turn that back into wood. Sure it made the joinery pretty simple and it ought to be super stable. I guess it just comes down to whether you prefer cutting joinery or gluing laminations. I’d take the cutting joinery .. for me that was the most fun.

Interesting approach. Looks solid.
I don’t have the time or lumber to make that frame, but that “mallet” would be fun to make just to have!
