I belive since my last post which was about the surgery on my knee. Well it seem’s i’m going in for another MRI today. I have no time to get out into my shop, i’m sure there a few that can relate to that. There has been alot of things happen since the last post. I can’t remember if I said anything about my mother passing away August 28th 2012. We put my father in a VA home, he has Alzheimer’s and isn’t doing well at all now. I’m afraid that he will not be with the family much longer.

The one good thing that has come out of this so far is, I am now a grandpa. A bout 2 weeks my daughter and son-in-law have birth to a baby girl. She had 3 months to go and was having problems with high blood pressure. The Dr’s told her that they were going to take the baby by c section. The did, every thing did well. Mom is home now for about a week now, the baby will be home sometime in June. Her name is Tristen Autumn Vest.{ I hope I spelt that right} anyway she weighted a mere 1 pound 14 ounces then she lost 2 ounces which is normal. Today I a’m having a busy day. I’m going for my MRI then pick up my daughter and going to the hospital to see my grand daughter for the first time. I kmow that seems like way to long to see her, but my son had a motorcycle wreck and I have been spending most of my time with him. He broke both feet 1 took a steel plate and 6 screws the other took 3 oin’s wich will come out in about 4 weeks. his ocular around his eye was broke, his cheek and nose also. He’s doing alot better now.

My grand daughter is so small I posted a pic of her foot print that they always do, with my daughters finger by them. Anyway I hope to be back in the shop as soon as I can. {Just have to get the stuff from my parents belongings from there, then back to bussines} I know this is a long post Sorry about that, just to much going on right now.

Tim, my condolences and congratulations. I know the pain of loosing parents, and can relate to your personal health issues You have had a rough time of it lately – but hopefully your new Granddaughter will be the beginning of it all turning around for the good. Hope all works out for you and you can get back to the shop soon.

I can relate to that! My grand daughter was born 2 months early and had to stay in ICU almost 2 months. She is a healthy 7 year old now. I believe your grand daughter will be fine. It’s just the pits she can’t come home just yet. I also had a total knee replacement about a year and half ago, totally worth it!

Tim- I’m so sorry to hear of your problems but know that you and your family are in all of our prayers.

Those footprints are so tiny! But she’ll be home and tormenting her grampa in no time!

Tim, I can relate to most of your story. No motor cycle wrecks but our daughter was pregnant and had to have a C section with twins. They arrived at 30 weeks pregnancy with 40 being the norm. Their foot prints were the exact size of three dimes side to side. That was in 2006. This June they will be 7 years old. They are normal (as anyone in my family) and doing great. They are very intelligent and have no physical problems. It is scary in the begining though. Grandma kept some of their premie clothes. They use them for doll clothes today. They actually fit the dolls tighter than they fit the girls. While we were there, my dad passed away after 21 years in a nursing home with a major stroke at age 59. That was actually a blessing if you know what I mean. He would have never wanted that and we didn’t want it for him. Life doesn’t give us those choices though. We lost an 11 year old grandson to a genetic vascualr disorder a couple of years later then our son had to have a tumor removed from the brain. It turned out to be on the lining around the brain so it was not shat they had expected to find. He got to go home the next day. He told everyone he had people from all corners of the earth praying for him. How many people do you hear about having out patient brain surgery? We will send up those prayers for you and yours.
