Today is my mothers 81st birthday. My 3 brothers I have just found out, that my mother has a mass in her pancreas. Yesterday the Dr. tried to get a sample to test. He wasn’t able to. He used dye to try to see it better. The duct by where it is just closed up everytime he tried. Today there going to put a tube in her side to remove the bile that is there, because seh also has Jaundice. REmoving the bile will take care of the Jaundice. Then it might be possible to go in and get a sample for testing. I think back, she always tells me that friday the 13th has been lucky for her. I quess the lucky streak has run out. I have been trying to prepair for my father to pass, since he has Alzheimer’s. I never thought it would be the other way around. The Dr. said 90% sure it is cancer.

Thanks for reading. It always helps to hear from the family here, when things like this happens, even with my disabilty.

Hi Tim;

I hope all works out well for you and your family. Seeing our parents like that is a very difficult thing. The fact you are there to help them must bring them much comfort.

My prayers are with you also. As I lost my mother last September, I know that the unknown can be a scary thing. Keep the positive thoughts going and we all wish her a speedy recovery
