What a trip. But it was well worth it. I got the bandsaw home. My cousin and I had a heck of a time getting the 420 Lbs. of Machine out of his truck. he has a rubber mat in the bed of the truck. We got it out then we had to slide it about half way into the garage so we could stand it up so I could close the garage door. It about wore us both out. I had a blast going down to get it. My cousin also took me by his lake place to see it. He thought that he had seen it. Over all a long but great day.

I posted a picture of it on my workshop page. i didn’t know how to post it here, I don’t have a account anywhere setup to beable to post it here.

My oh my, look at all the free wood that came with it. Nice to see you doing back flips. Bet you don’t get any sleep for a couple days unless you curl up beside it :-))

Glad you had a good trip. So now tell us, how long did you stay in the store and did you play in the demo room? So what else caught your eye while you were there? Would love to make another trip like that again myself.

Well Greg, we wasn’t in the store very long. I came down a couple of months ago to look at it. When I was there I spent about 3 hours there looking around DREAMING!! I did go into the demo room. I was able to use the same one that I bought, the only difference between that one and mine was it had the electric brake. The guy that was in the room with me said it wasn’t really worth the extra money. I didn’t think that either. I just got the creat off of it. It is still on the skid. I can’t go to much further until I get some help. So till I do I will clean up the table top.

Sounds like a good day, good that you could be with you cousin. I will check out your workshop page and look at your new bandsaw. You can see pictures of my Rikon on my workshop page too.
