My favorite holiday and My fourth year being asked to carve pumpkins on Kid’s night at the restaurant Trattoria 225 in Oak Park, Illinois. This year the owner got two pumpkins… both were larger than any previous year. But I took on the challenge and each one took 4 hours to carve. The largest of the two had meat was over 4 inches thick in some areas… so I got to play with light and carve out some great shapes. I wish I had had more time to do a better sculpt, but it is about amusing the kids and questions from parents and fans. Both were raffled off for Halloween. I am so happy to have the chance to help out a great local business and carve some pumpkins I’d never get to otherwise.

I called it Walrus demon… everyone else calls it the Lorax

And a Tiki Totem
