« Part 5: Making classic car fenders Part 6 of TIPS series no next part

Festool is making great tools, but not the cheapest ones. I like the working of the MFS 400 / MFS 700 but did not want to spend the money for it. And besides that it is easy to make a similar one. I ordered some parts on the internet and below you can see the results.

I have selected one video from another woodworker, but there are a lot more. Google on MFS 400 or MFS 700 and you will find a lot, and feel free to put a link in your comment for another.

The rectangle jig below is about 500×700 mm, but I also made a smaller one which I will perhaps introduce later.

Good one Dutchy... You lucky Europeans have access to a greater set of hardware than us mere Churchill-ites. Gotta dig in my archives to show my “cheap” version… which I made before I put a blasted big value on my time (left on this earth)...

Real cool sir. Would you happen have a jig for centering on dowel ? Like for finding center on the end of the dowel to drill a tube.
