My shop is forever changing. I’m in the military and I move from state to state quite often. This has led to the creation of my semi mobile, traveling shop. Most of my power tools are contractor style except the table saw. I’ve had my shop in a shed which worked but wasn’t ideal. Next was a one car garage and loved it. It’s odd how you expand quickly to fill the space. And I’m currently moving into a 2 car garage. I have to share it with a washer, dryer and water heater. So, a partition will be needed or the wife will have my head if a layer of sawdust accumulates on any of it.

Hey there, Sarge…I know you’re there where that beautiful Koa wood grows. What’s the possibility of getting you to ship me a couple of highly figured or burled 2×10x48 inch boards???? They want a leg and your first born child here in the lower 48 for the wood.. If you can do that, I would like to see photos of the boards. I will pay the S&H plus the cost of the wood. At 48 inches, it should ship UPS or FedX standard shipping…
Thanks, Bill Haight.

Hey man. I haven’t been on here in a while so just a slightly delayed response. I’ll keep my eyes peeled if you’re still interested. Shipping is outrageous here. I’ll try to get a quote for something of that size. I just got my shop up and running recently so I’ll be around here more often.

What a distraction it must be to have a shop in a beautiful place like Honolulu. Stay safe, enjoy your shop, and welcome to Lumberjocks.
