no previous part Part 1 of Minneapolis, collapsed bridge series no next part

I have been touched by the number of people asking and sending me messages wondering if I am alright and offering there prayers and thoughts.

The bridge that collapsed its one that I use frequently.

I am well as is my friends and family.

I am awaiting work on a co-worker and friend who is listed as missing,

I remain hopeful that he is not part of the destruction and devastation.

I am preparing for the worst as I hope for the best.

Please pray for him and his family.

I was wondering as well Dusty. Glad to hear that you are ok. Perhaps if they want the thing built right this time, they’ll give you a call.

Quite unbelieveable! I’m certainly glad your alright, I pray for those people who were unfortunate enough to be there, just going about they’re daily lives.

I hope all turns out well for your friend.

I will admit it Dusty. I had worried about you also. I decided to check this morning if you were still around, worrying about the worst. Then, happily, I found this blog. Thanks for letting us know you are ok.

Fellow Lumberjacks,

He was found, and had been one of the 100 victims who had been he injured and had been hospitalized . He has been released from the hospital and is recovering.

He is single, and not from this area so there wasn’t any family or local contacts for him to relay any information.

Because of data privacy laws no information could be released about his hospitalization, thus leaving us all in the dark for an extended period of time.

After he had recovered enough to be released from the hospital he called us to report that he was doing fine and is in recovery.

Thank you for all your concern and prayers.
