I was watching one of my favorite shows last night. I was sitting there on the couch, and I saw a preview for an upcoming spot, and I recognized some Mission work, so I couldn't wait to see it. I watch the opening introduction, and if I don't find anything interesting in the episode, I delete it quickly to clear more room on the DVR. But, this time, I saw that glimpse of Mission work, and so I fast forwarded the DVR to that spot.
Then, they introduced the spot, and showed some more work, and I thought, "I've seen that before." Then, they introduced the artist that made all of it and his name was "Dusty" from Minnesota. Then, they panned the rooms of Mission furniture, and I recognized the pieces in the room. I called to "wife", "honey, Dusty from lumberjocks is on t.v." She came running in, the kids came running in, and we all watched with great joy as our buddy Dusty was interviewed, showed his work, showed his lamps being built, showed his stained glass ceiling…....
The episode was "Look What I Did"
Dusty, I can't believe I hadn't heard that you were going to be on tv. The spot of was excellent, and you were shown as true master of your craft….I was very proud of you.
Congrats from one of your big fans!!
