Rick Dennington

Hello to all you lumberjocks out there. My name is Rick Dennington, and I live in Lakeview, AR in the beautiful Ozark Mts. on Bull Shoals lake. I am new to the website, but not new to woodworking. I’ve been building custom furniture and projects for people for about 26 years. I moved here from Memphis, Tn about 7 years ago, where I had a 20×32 woodshop. When me and my wife bought our home here, along with some extra land, I built a 42×52 woodshop. 26’x52’ is dedicated to my shop, and 16’x52’ is where I park my bass boat and tow vechile. I also fish competitive money bass tournaments, so I needed a place for the rig. My shop is fully outfitted with central heat and air, has 72 wall outlets every 4 feet(floor plugs and ceiling plugs also). My table saws(Ihave 2), radial arm, planer, joiner, shop saw, etc. are on their own circuit, also. I have 300 amp service to the shop, and its on its own pole with meter. My dust collection is set up in another room to reduce noise, and every machine has a 4 in. hose w/ blast gates to them. I have 4 big work tables, and I just built a new assembly table(4’x8’) not long ago. So I’m pretty well set up to do about anything in wood!!! I just found this site, and thought I might get in on the action and learn some more—you never quit learning. Oh by the way—I’m 62 and been retired from the Army a really long time. So—when I’m not fishing, I’m in my shop pretty much all the time. I hope I haven’t rambled too much , but wood like to hear some comments/ questions from others out here in the woodworking world. As soon as I figure out how, I’ll try to post some photos of the shop. I’ll have to ask my wife—she’s the shutterbug!!!! Thanks again. Yours in woodworking. Rick Dennington.
