I'm a daguerreotypist living in Durham, NC. I got into woodworking as a way to make my own photography-related tools and I've really enjoyed it. I make various boxes and gadgets now but I'm always planning the next greatest project.

Regarding plant stands- yes mortise and tenon. All of my pieces are mortise and tenon and pegged. I try not to use any screws & etc. Usually the only metal are table top fasteners.

Thank you for the constructive criticism on my clock face…I agree that it is out of place , however , other than the two faces pictured here, my local WoodCraft store only had black for a third face possiblity….Perhaps you have a better source for solid brass keepers of time….thank you in advance : )
