Ying and Yang Update

Quick update concerning my Winter Contest 2010 Ying and Yang entry. I donated the cutting boards to my oldest two children’s elementary school for their Spring Fair silent auction. The fair raises money for the PTO/school and pays for field trips, special programs, etc. The bidding started at $20 for each board (a bit on the low side I thought but so be it) and they both ended up going to $50 each. So a little of my time and wood helped raise $100 dollars to help my kids and other children have a little better time at school…...priceless.

Nice use of the projects Duane and kind of you to be so charitable. I agree the bidding is on the low side but I am sure those PTA winners are calling every friend, neighbor, relative, etc. they have to gloat about the awesome cutting board they won at the auction :)

Nice of you to donate them. I think the buyers got a great deal at $50.
