I would not describe my self as a professional woodworker as I do not make my living from it. I would describe my self as a very serious amateur/hobbyist who when not in the shop would almost always prefer to be there. Maybe some day I can make that "leap of faith" and leave this desk behind.
I am mostly self taught, a lot of trial and error, and improvements from one project to the next. I have learned alot from reading books and magazines and the occasional TV show that I happen to catch.
