.well to make a long story short I have always enjoyed building anything out of wood. With a desire to obtain knowledge and experience in all the many building construction and remodeling trades, good work ethics, high standards that met and or exceeded my customers expectations allowed me to build a base clientele back in Cheyenne WY that kept me working year around and after 20 years of service and determination i finally had what was the beginning of my Dream custom woodworking and cabinet shop. Just about all my stationary tools, table saw, dual compound miter saw, 14" bandsaw, 6 1/2" joiner, 15" planer, 15" Drill press, belt/spindle sander were all Ridgid brand, dozens of jigs and accessories that i built for each tool shelves and cabinets full of all the necessary hand and power tools, a full dust collection system , about 40 clamps from pipe clamps to bessey case and parallel clamps..... and the list went on but the one thing i never focused on adding to my knowledge base was business and financial management. and it was that defect of caricature that cost me my dream.i was given a very short period of time to move out,(shop and home on same lot) and i made the mistake of listening to so called friends that said they would help with the shop getting it loaded and moved, not one showed up and my deadline came and went and the property owner took possession of everything that i didn't have packed. 3 weeks later at the auction he held those so called friends were there buying my tools.. thats when i decided i was leaving WY.. so here i am starting from scratch again. I guess that will be my priority projects..lol
