THe clamping system i use does NOT warp the boards i use 2 C-Clamps (usually used for metal work) i clamp 2 pieces of OAK flooring one on each side of the boards first , then i edge clamp there is a 2” angle iron bar in the center that i put a 2×4 underneath it, center presure….at the last about 1/4 ” i clamp the 1 1/2 ” square tubing to the frame … that frees up like 6 pipe clamps … the boards are NOT table tops (yet) there are 3 16” pannels on the rack thats from 6- 8” and the 8” are from 4 2” .... yes thats a LOT of pieces …But totally eliminates the problem with wide boards warping, and the stove gets TREATS like fir kindling and TONS of shavings….. i think im going on a wee bit but i hope this covers the 25 inquiries i got JUST TODAY LOL …oh and the left over strips CUTTING BOARDS….
total glue = 1 full gallon….
