i have done a number of projects you can view them at
today we My Buddy KEN and I installed a outside vent 8×13’’ its vented by a old furnace blower on speed 3 (max) with 3 filters on each side and gone outside
the problem that we soon realized that the wood stove was billowing SMOKE back into the shop Keep the shop door open ... that did the trick
Also we put in a flap door to bypass the outside vent when we ONLY want to filterthe air
man-0-man why we did not do that like 10 years ago…..

tomorrow back at ripping down 1×8 into 2’’ strips and then laminating into 16’’ wide for the next project..BIG tv stand ALL solid fir

i love it that im getting my fir practically FREE

Sounds good except isn’t kind of weird to have to have the door open for the heat to work?

well thats only when we get either TOO HOT in the shop or doing some metal grinding … the fumes go out the vent BUT the main door needs to be open…. yes the heat also goes out but then when sanding or planing wood the vent flap is in the recycle mode, flap UP -deverts the venting INTO the shop…. gosh i hope this makes sence….
