The woodworking passion hit me three years ago. I retired early from the corporate jungle and decided to take my woodworking more seriously. I started a very small business called "Oak by Design" making custon coffee tables, sofa tables, entertainment centers, and have just started making small jewlery, tea and mens junk boxes out of contrasting exotic woods. I am totally self taught and read almost exclusively books and magazines on woodworking. I also spend a good deal of time researching woodworking related topics on the internet.
My only regret is not having the motivation earlier on in my life to start into woodworking. However it is never too late. I love it.
