My workshop is a steel barn on the farm I grew up on and has no insulation nor cooling, so the summers are very hot in there, after reaching 105 degrees, inside I go home. The shop is 16’ x 50’, with pallet racks on one side for storage. I have a SawStop contractors table saw, Powermatic 14” bandsaw, Delta drill press with 6” of travel, Jet 6×84 edge sander, an oscillating spindle sander, a Jet buffing/sanding machine with pneumatic sanding drums, Jet 16-32 drum sander, Powermatic 15” planer, Osurd Pin Router, Dust collection and lots of other misc items.

Here are two pictures, one point North and the other South. Very tight but fun to work in. the shop is laid out for production. the one thing we have an issue with is the duct collection.

Your shop certainly sounds like it would be an interesting place in which to work. I am looking forward to taking a tour of it when you get the opportunity to post some pictures.
