15 years I had the privilege to teach young children to work with wood as a craftsteacher in a Waldorf school. And they teached me.
I have tried to show them the beauty of wood. From the most beautyfull wood, that is stil part of a living tree, to the wood in their hands as we made bowls and spoons or used our knives to find animals in the wood.
This is the most basic woodwork in which you touch the wood every second.
In my workshop I normaly use Birch plywood and light machinery. Still quite basic and it is a chalange to work as precise as I want.
Last year a friend invited me in the world of mechanical wood processing and CNC. This is amazing! The speed and the accuracy! I love to be a much invated guest in this world but it is not mine. I want to 'see' the wood with my hands while I am working.

Thank you all for this warm welcome! I realy appreciate it.
After many years of woodworking it is good to find a community like LumberJocks.
I’ve seen great projects, so for inspiration this realy is the right adress.
When I have found out how to do it I will post some of my projects.
