Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Doug,
I hope you don’t go. I think mics might have been having a bad day. He’s not usually like that with folks. there really is a good group around here.
Dave
p.s. At least don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions about SketchUp. I’m happy to help.

Doug,
Just recently joined as well…
I’m a fairly new participant to the online community/blog concept and novice woodworker, but having spent the past few weeks poking around, I’ve found there is a TON of good information here posted by very talanted people (DaveR being one of many) that want to openly share their knowledge and experiences. As with any community, there’s always a few neighbors that you either tolerate or ignore, and then there’s neighbors you enjoy hanging around with. Hang in there. The more ideas, questions asked and questions answered helps the whole community, both current and future members.
Hope you hang around as well…looking forward to seeing your shop setup and future projects!
Mike
p.s. If you haven’t checked out Marc S. and his site and podcasts, it’s definitely worth a look. He’s very entertaining and full of great information.
